I personally dont think 1.58 is quick enough for fast group, but you wouldn't be the slowest.
There were loads of slow riders that shouldn't have been in fast on Wednesday, they gas it down the straights then are really slow into the corner then pick it up and gas it like fk again usually on the wrong line. You never know which way some of them are going to go. It doesn't really bother me that much as everyone does their best and it isn't a race.
It would bother me if I was chasing lap times.

My thoughts exactly...I always view fast group as on the cusp of amateur racing. But I don't want to hit loads of traffic...
This is the video of mckeann on my trackbike at Oulton Park.
At the start you can hear mckeann reminding himself it was road shift. He also failed to mention that he went through the run off at Hislops chicance (about 11:25 in the video); presume cooked brakes by that point
Then he comes in and just dumps it against the garage wall! Poor wee bike

SHED.
Brakes were going off by then and I was relying on engine braking, so when I didn't et the gear I wanted I just ran through the chicane. Could have made the corner but couldn't be bothered by then
If you stiffen up the rear suspension, sort the brakes, and widen your bars a bit, it wouldn't be that bad a bike tbh. I reckon sub 50 is possibly with a bit more time to get used to it as I never get near the limit.

Some people with a race licence wouldn't keep up in inters. It's no qualification of anything, just provides an entitlement to race be on a bike at ACU meetings/test days.
I have a race license and I could barely keep up in inters on Wednesday. Was ridiculously slow. Although it was the first time I rode a bike for 3 months after my accident. Wasn't expecting to be as slow as I was, never been like that before despite plenty of other crashes.
