Maybe I'm old school, but I think just because YT exists, doesn't mean we need to post all our or our loved ones Faux Pas' up for the world to see or ridicule...
But despite this, try to find somewhere that the Mrs can really get into bike control without worrying about traffic.
Riding is about mastering 2 disparate elements. Bike control and environment awareness. Once you've mastered bike control you can focus all your attention on environment management. Not good to mix the 2 when basic bike control is still iffy.
Sadly passing your test doesn't mean you can ride a bike.....
Definitely! I suggested that she ride for a a few weeks before a trip to the Ring (and only then a track-day not a TF). Joke, honestly.

In general, I do not disagree with anything you said. Except that her riding is quite good (considering) and this was a lack of concentration as we approached home, either way the hiccup was a learning experience for both of us.
On the other hand I did ride down roads like that by choice soon after my test as I got fed up feeling like I was holding up traffic, it made a nice change for it to just be me & my cockups without others being inconvenienced by them.

The other half was out at her dancing so after making a meal of champions, scrambled egg and toast as it was that or beans, I went out and did a 100 odd miles.

I badly need to regas the rear shock. It's 18 year old and whilst it's not noticeable trundling to work on the motorway it is when you show it a corner.

The route was almost all new tarmac. It was ruined though by traffic. I hit 5 cars in 80 miles. And a st load of midgies

I thought I'd put this picture in here too, since all I can do at the moment is look at it and wait to go and collect it...

I'm guessing someone is getting along with their fireblade now hehe

I like my Fazers, this is my third one, I'd forgotten how comfy they are!

Yes dave, at last.

I was saying to Loon we'll have to have another run in the next couple of weeks.
