Love they colour schemes
Yeah, I wasn’t looking for this colour, but now I’ve got it I really like it. It’s obviously of an era, but it’s an era I love.

Thanks, it certainly goes well, and challenges in equal measure.

Picked up a set of 2nd hand 17” rims for the 690, bit of a ball ache to fit them, but they’re on now, just got to sort the speedo error.

Went to get a new one piece but nothing fits my weirdo body shape. I'm like a tube of toothpaste that's been sat on.

But I saw these........not sure I need a sixth pair of gloves but look at them. Kinda retro cool and got them for £60 as they're old stock.

My summer pair are AS GP Plus of the same era. Made well and durable. Comfortable enough.

Great ride on a cracking day. Bit odd at first but easy to adapt to. Silly torque but huge fun.
That is a stunning looking bike.

There only 2 current model motorcycles I’d chose to own and ride - and that’s one on them. Very nice smile
Got to ask what the other one is?

Thoroughly enjoyed the Rocket. Had planned to go out again today but forecast was st (and wrong ultimately).

Might manage a run tomorrow if all goes well.

My new commuter bike. I really like it. Went for the DCT version which I’m very happy with.

Happy new bike day.

Are you moving into the pizza delivery business?

Although not something I'd want to own quite yet they do look brilliant and I'd love a go. That engine must pull like a train

I’ve ridden the previous version, I spent most of the time doing short bursts of acceleration and giggling like a kid.
The new one is more powerful and lighter!

Spent 10 hours on this over Sat & Sun - meandery A & B Road round trip from Manchester to South Oxfordshire & back to visit some relatives.

Peak District / rural Leicestershire / Fosse Way / rural Warwickshire & Oxfordshire all sampled!

Weather v hot but venting in the textiles worked surprisingly well and bike was super comfortable as expected

A new bike day is always a good day!

And you will love the DCT box too, I love mine on my Africa Twin, can't see me ever going back to a manual bike now.

What model is yours by the way, I thought it was a cross tourer at first but then realised Honda don't sell them any more after 2021.

Escaping the London heat on two wheels today with a visit to Studland Beach via the chain ferry crossing at Poole harbour. Glad I was on the bike as the traffic was quite heavy there and back.

It’s a 2012 NC700X. A very well looked after bike , pretty much immaculate for its age. Not going to set the world on fire ,but for its intended commuting use it’s an absolute gem with a steady 80mpg( probably a few more mpgs without that huge box on the back too laugh ) .

Finally got round to getting my bike MOTd last week and went out for a bit of a potter last night. AP performance airbox kit fitted and it sounds even better now
