I'm fine, just slid on my arse then got up. Bike not so good but not disastrous. I'll get a better look when I get it back tomorrow.

Unlucky Tom. At least you are OK, bikes are always repairable.

YouTube is messing about so not sure when the video will go up. It doesn't want to go past about 94%

Bike isn't too bad, I've got my old fairings still. Nothing overly expensive to fix.

No I'm quite certain this all happened because of the brake discs

Any one have any idea how much it would be to hire cadwell or Mallory for a day, I guess it comes with medics and all the insurance to boot . I am going to guess 3k but maybe way out and not even sure if they would allow a private individual to book the place?
With a few friends splitting the difference it would be a fun day.

Tucked the front round Chris curve. I'd felt quite stiff for the first two sessions although I was going a reasonable pace. The third session everything started to click and I could feel I was getting quicker. My mate who I was very even with the session before said he couldn't keep up when in the session before I couldn't pass him. I was really getting into it, loosened up, moving around the bike as I should and getting on the power when I should etc. Got to Chris curve tipped in and got on the throttle, tried to tighten the turn a bit but the front let go the bars fell to the inside and my knee got closer and closer to the tank before I started sliding on my arse. All very gentle for me, I can't have fallen very far at all. I slid along watching the bike slide until it dug in and flipped 2 or 3 times. Plastic was flying everywhere!

The crash bungs, rearsets and exhaust protector saved a lot of damage to the sides of the bike. They probably didn't help with it flipping but I think it would have flipped anyway. The grass was wet and very uneven. I'll get it fixed and back out soon enough.

I think it was around £7k for a weekday at Cadwell when I last enquired

Sucks doesn't it, sounds like mine when I tried to tip it in further and it just folded.

Its a very odd feeling sliding along isn't it!!
Like I said though, at least you're OK.

Yeah but as we all know it's just part of track days. At least I should have learnt for next time. I'm glad I had the camera on as at least I got chance to see what actually happened rather than just guess.

It was bizarre sliding along! Luckily I have decent leathers and I fell straight onto the hip armour so that didn't hurt and the leathers did their job. There's a small hole in the arse from sliding but it won't cost much to get repaired. Worst case I'll treat myself to some new ones.

Glad you're alright Tom.

In light of your accident I've decided not to report you to ASDA for stealing their basket.

Haha I actually have no idea what happened with that! I left the bike with a pile of bits at Cadwell. My dad and mate went to collect the bike yesterday and all the bits had been put in an asda basket. I don't really understand how an asda basket gets to Cadwell given it's in the middle of nowhere!

I've put the word out on few other forums I post on. I'll let you know if anyone wants it.
