With the bodywork removed from my Ducati MHR, I can do some work on the engine, which looks pretty clean in the photo, but in reality its covered in dust and the alloy that was hidden behind the fairing is dull and needs a good polish.

Oops. Is that another of those £6k 5.1 factory build motors?

I heard a rumour of snow(!) next week so first trip of the year on the BM today , done a tank full on the back roads of Northants and Bucks...was great to get back out on it.
Cracking photo, yesterday was my 1st outing also this year, I think we made a good call as the weather has turned today, how did you find the roads? There still covered in salt hear with all the white dust but enjoyable all the same.
Good for you.

Was a bit about eh? I chanced it as it was only a dusting and I was really missing riding it, could be a while before its that warm again I thought.

gave it a good wash and a wipe over with an oily rag when I returned so no harm done .

Yep frown think it’s one of the con rod bolts again. It’s only done 1800 miles. Just putting a standard engine 2018 engine in when it gets back.

Was cylinder 2 last time, 3 this time. It’s not quite as bad as last time as the con rod was lying in the belly pan then! It’s still within the engine somewhere now.

Went mx today with my boy and did a day on track myself. Its strange I gave up 5 years ago and second ride back I'm 95% back to where I was before... Just can't quite get the ruts yet

Anyways I got a great video of someone getting it all wrong on a jump, crashing and then me running him over. I couldn't believe it but he came straight over in the pits laughed it off and wanted to watch the video!

If the below doesn't work I'll get it uploaded on YouTube

That looks like irresponsible riding on the road.
