As a fan of Gas monkey i loved the banter on twitter before, during and after the build off , apparently Jesse's bike was way overdue and had to get an extension twice , the gas monkeys guys however rode their bike the 1100miles to the Vegaqs build off giving them maximum kudos imo

I like PJ as well , his dad is a bit of a knob though kinda ruins the AC shows for me but I also hope that PJD get their own show especially if Rick goes there smile
ive never even heard of gas moneky!

Oh and one more thing, if you want to rent a bike at all then I can thoroughly recommend Jupiters

http://www.jupitersmc.com/rentals.php

Used them a few times before I got my own over there. Great service, not cheap, but little is in NYC.

I thought they had gone belly up?

Anyone know what the state of play is with the OCC saga (Jr's law suit, OCC in administration etc)??
All lawsuits were settled by June 2011 the scriptwriters who created them in the first place and wrote the subsequent episodes accordingly?
Shirley?

I did laugh at the episode where Snr claimed OCC wasnt worth anything and therefore the stock Jnr had was worthless , Paul Jr replied that if it was worthless he would happily take his fathers sharesmilesmile

Didn't nub quit because of the constant OCC deadlines?

I can and will, just never heard of it...We tend to watch everything off the sky+ so rarely sit through adverts hence never heard of this show before.

Cheers Fella.

I'm planning on being in NYC for my birthday this year....a visit to OCC is well and truly on the agenda.

coffee
I'm heading to New York in June, my first time in North America so I'm really looking forward to it.

Think a trip to a chopper builder may be a little unpopular though hehe
Excellent, let us know how your trip goes cool
This'll be our first trip too.
Maybe a trip out to The Long Island beaches then which, oh look, happen to be near Billy Joel's 20th Century Motorcycle shop. Great place with lots of old and new bikes including a Vincent, Guzzis, BSAs and other Brit iron. Normally quite a few bikes meet there at the weekends.

I was living/working in NY for the last couple of years, so happy to give any advice I can smile
Awesome, cheers! We're going out there for my Aunt's 60th, so I'm not too sure how much bikey stuff I'll get away with. She's a Paddy, so I suspect there's gonna be more eating and drinking than biking!

Thanks for the offer though, I may ask a few tips... just in case smile

Oh and if people want to see some amazing custom bikes, and are ever out east (in the UK!) go and have a look at Krazy Horse in Bury St Edmunds. They build some amazing things.

I used to watch OCC religiously, but found it got to be more like an assembly show. I used to like seeing how they made all the bespoke bits!
