If, just saying, you realised as the day has progressed that your neck is getting sorer and sorer having been jerked backwards with your helmet on, and the ankle of the foot you had on the floor is starting to get sore and swell a bit, then it just became a reportable injury RTC. Obviously, only if this is 100% the case.

wink

He should be followed up at least for failing to stop and probably failing to report, leave alone the intent to harm....

I would be absolutely utterly utterly sweary sweary firey burning mad about this, I'm quite that way on your behalf typing this! 100% push the police and demand you're taken seriously.

I was driven into (in my car) on purpose by a foreign lorry driver once-upon-a-time, and the police convinced me not to make a fuss as it'd be a load of work for them; to this day I wish I'd insisted, if only because the insurance took months and months and months to sort (ended up at the MIB).

I can't post it because its for sale at the moment on a website.
The registration leads to the advert, which has his mobile number, which when called would put you through to the perp in question.

It would promote amateur sleuthing, plus he hasn't answered his phone yet, so I can't get his address and go for a viewing until he does.
fk that, let's have it. I'm sure there are plenty of ways that plenty of people could make this 's life a misery.
Starting by making his Jag unsaleable.
Bicycles are quiet and brake fluid is (a)easy to carry and (b)makes fantastic paint-stripper.

Brake fluid is good, but if you want to do the job properly.....

As for the brake fluid idea, I cant testify after my bh of an ex done my st in, on my birthday that it destroys your paint £3000 of damage. For 1 minutes revenge.

I have always thought about returning the favour of revenge after mines was done. I have remained with my dignity in tack and not reacted. It got me no fking where. I suspect you will be the same.

Should the arms of justice fail, carry it in a squirty drinks bottle. laugh And remember, it just has to touch one panel. Spread the fker out...and do it on a dry night.

Sad state of affairs when you have to carry out the Police Forces work for them, but I think you missed your calling! Excellent work.

Hope you get some results, someone with that mentality needs to be locked up!

Given the severity of the violent crime against a person, is a police officer not willing to accompany you on one of these "viewings"? The pedigree of this car also looks highly suspect so a couple of quick wins for them?

Shouldn't you kind of wait until the police make a decision before thinking about vigilante action? It may well end up with you being on the receiving end of them.

Perhaps you should check whether the police have remembered to send that form to your witnesses. And if the police carry on dragging their feet maybe you should try to get sworn statements yourself before the witnesses forget or move house/lose interest/die. The witness statements are crucial - without them it's just your word against the fruitcake. And maybe the police actually want it to be like that, so they don't have to log a crime or investigate anything. Maybe you should get a solicitor to write the police a letter, just so they know you're not going to lose interest.

Find your local police facebook page and post it up there embarass them into action .
The only action that would likely bring is proceedings against the OP from plod for saying nasty things about them...

Top work OP!

You seem sensible enough, but I'll say it anyway. Don't do anything to his car and it might be best to avoid another face-to-face with him in the future. This guy definitely has an air of 'dodgy' around him and he could do something really stupid based on his previous behavior.

Hope the police sort this for you and keep us updated!
