The 600 is a fast bike without a doubt but a litre bike gives you that thrill of power everywhere - lots of torque, amazing acceleration etc. The 600 though provides thrills in a different way - corner speeds is higher, less risk of a high side and you can thrash it.. But for me, I wouldn't change to a 600 on the road - my R1 (2007) is a good mix of cornering and acceleration.. I love the feeling of the power and the ease of blasting away traffic.. On the track though it would be 600 every time..
thats why i got the 600 because i want to do a few track days this summer, i was originally going to do this then get a 1098 next year to replace it but i do really like it, its a great bike i just want it to be a litre bike sometimes though!! which is whay i think buying an early R1 to compliment it would be the best idea.Gassing Station | Biker Banter | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
