The 600 is a fast bike without a doubt but a litre bike gives you that thrill of power everywhere - lots of torque, amazing acceleration etc. The 600 though provides thrills in a different way - corner speeds is higher, less risk of a high side and you can thrash it.. But for me, I wouldn't change to a 600 on the road - my R1 (2007) is a good mix of cornering and acceleration.. I love the feeling of the power and the ease of blasting away traffic.. On the track though it would be 600 every time..
thats why i got the 600 because i want to do a few track days this summer, i was originally going to do this then get a 1098 next year to replace it but i do really like it, its a great bike i just want it to be a litre bike sometimes though!! which is whay i think buying an early R1 to compliment it would be the best idea.

One of the most fun bikes i had was only a 300cc v-twin.
It was an Aprilia RS250 with a tuned 300cc engine from Stan Stephens in Kent.
The handling was great and it had an impressive 75 bhp.

i love the RS250s, i had an RS125 for a while when i was 17 but i jumped straight to a 'restricted' 400 when i passed my test, i would have liked a 250 though, they look good even now, love those twin exhausts.
