Passed on an lc125 back when it was the first year of the two part test! Eeee them were the days, back when lc350's and ypvs were still available, and going from a 125 to a powervalve was fun to say the least!!

I passed my test on one of these, a Honda CM250 Custom, which was owned by a mate (owing to the fact that I'd smashed my bike up two days before my test and it was the only thing available):-

Strangely it seemed a lot bigger all of those years ago.

Theres an Er-5 in front in my "hilarious" rip up the L photo.

A different one to the bike i had been riding all week as the clutch failed on the morning of the test.

I passed my test in 1985 on my mates MBX80, it was in January and my AR80 suffered badly from what I now know to be carb freezing.

Of course it was an LC straight after, happy days when a Norwich Union rider policy was dirt cheap and covered you up to certain cc bracket AND TPFT on your mates bikes!

i don't think that was the model you rode which is why it looks small, that isn't a superdream engine more of an overbored cm200.the uk cm250 had comstar wheels and disc brakes and was much bigger .
