what did you pass your test on?
Discussion
I passed my test in 1985 on my mates MBX80, it was in January and my AR80 suffered badly from what I now know to be carb freezing.
Of course it was an LC straight after, happy days when a Norwich Union rider policy was dirt cheap and covered you up to certain cc bracket AND TPFT on your mates bikes!

I passed my test on one of these, a Honda CM250 Custom, which was owned by a mate (owing to the fact that I'd smashed my bike up two days before my test and it was the only thing available):-
Strangely it seemed a lot bigger all of those years ago.
i don't think that was the model you rode which is why it looks small, that isn't a superdream engine more of an overbored cm200.the uk cm250 had comstar wheels and disc brakes and was much bigger .Strangely it seemed a lot bigger all of those years ago.
