Finally got chance to go for a ride this afternoon. Its been ages since I last went out on it. Roll on the summer.

Not touched mine since day after I bought it. Spent 2 nights putting loads of bits on it

Decided this morning to ride from Essex to Bury St Edmunds then onto Cambridge before starting work. Had a lovely ride back through Bishop Stortford into Finchingfield

Think I must've done near 200 miles. Can feel it loosening up a bit now. Few people looked at the Ohlins sticker on the swing arm and had to take a double look

Spent most of my weekend out on the bike as it was sunny


Saturday went for a ride out towards Garstang, Kitty rolled to a stop on the A6 after I had just filled up, I assume some crud from the bottom of the tank got stuck somewhere as after a few minutes of panic and a few goes at trying to start her, she sprung to life and was fine again.


Once I was over the panic I nipped into Guys Thatched Hamlet for a drink to watch the rally cars going out.


Sunday went to Devils Bridge with a women from a local ladies biking group

It really was a perfect day for it today. Not a cloud in the sky, not too cold, not too hot; bike perfection.

Cleaned the carb out, fresh fuel and running perfectly again. MOT booked for Monday and then its up for sale to make room for the CBR
