What’s the riding position like on these for pressure on the wrists etc?
I'm only 5ft5 so I find sports bikes okay but I find it the most comfortable sport bike I've ever ridden. Compared to the modern stuff, it's more like a sports tourer if I'm honest. I rode the newest R6 at Silverstone last year and that was very cramped in comparison.

I like the scramblers, what makes it nicer to ride? I imagine a gs sets the bar pretty high anyway?
I only had a quick hours ride once I picked it up but a couple of things flag up:

Weight is lower down on the RnineT so feels more nimble and easy to chuck it round corners
Slightly bigger engine so felt more comfortable sat at high speeds
The GS just felt big and wide.

I do miss the big TFT screen and all the gizmo's but I dont really need them for the blast to work and sunday rides.

Major step forward on the second of the Corgis (aka Frankie) - motor back in, wheels on, and able to sit on it own stand for the first time. Cause for many a beer last night beer It'd be a hoot to put clip-ons and rear sets on it, but maybe on another one...

The whole saga of Frankie (and Lydia) is on another thread https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&..., but I was sufficiently chuffed with progress it warranted my daily pic cloud9

I went out for a ride with a local group yesterday. Had a great time and met some nice people. One of the guys is a pro photographer so got some good photos of us all.

I need a black and orange lid.

Thank you. I am 5’11" - I will have to try a few bikes soon. Really want the rs660 - I think.

Hi guys, I know this isn't exactly banter but I just got a tech-air 5 fixed and it has the following report which I can't make heads or tails of. Does anyone know what the red circled field means? Does it mean usage is not ok?

I read that as it hasn’t been used so it’s asking “was it used ok/when it deployed, was it ok”. As it wasn’t returned after going off, it has to be a no because it hasn’t gone off.

A very backwards way of going about it. It make you wonder if their options were yes, no or NA and they selected no instead of NA.

If there was a reason for it not to be used, I’d expect to see them written within the notes.

If you speak to whoever did it and can’t get an answer, let me know and I can ask our Alpinestars rep to get clarification for you smile.

All back together , running crisp and ready for decent weather.

Took two years mind since the crank case smashed itself, and two weeks ago I decided to pull my finger out.

Apart from the mish mash of red bits and pieces, that is a fabulous looking thing.

sunny Margate - perhaps not at its best this time of year but the visit was work related not pleasure
