First ride of the tweaked H2.

For me, its plain crazy, its brisk enough up to 7k revs.
Power and torque is relentless. Could be me being fooled as I havent ridden it for so long but it did feel lighter.

The remap has elminated the on/off throttle as well, worth every penny for that alone.

At 120 you usually start to leave your exhaust noise behind but these feels like your in your own nightclub sat next to the sound system.
I know my neighbour will hate it so its staying..
Does drown out the supercharger noise which isnt good but I cant change that , even with the baffle I think.

Great to be out on 2 wheels again.

I love the fact that you are modding an H2 for more power….nutter.

Nice to get out for a ride not layered up in winter gear. Willingham Woods cafe was already getting busy when I called in earlier for a coffee on the way home.

Looks busy, I was going to go there myself today, but in the end I did a different ride today. I was just happy to be able to get out on the ZZR after filling it with diesel yesterday!

It ran for about 200 yards and then spluttered to a smoking halt. I removed the tank and drained everything, flushed it through, and thankfully it fired up. Looked like a 2 stroke for a few seconds, and then it was fine. I was lucky. I won’t ever forget that the V Power diesel pump is also red!

Daft as it seems, there are probably more modified bikes than standard, due in part to the horrid std throttle response and the fact there is such a large gain to be had for relatively modest outlay.

Nice contrast today, out with my Dad on his RD200 for a
swift half and a bimble. Perfect.

Very lucky......I know many modern petrol cars wont accept diesel sized filler nozzles, but thinking about my bikes only the Triumph has any kind of restriction in the filler that would only accept a petrol nozzle.

So I’ve only done 60 or so miles, but it has really surprised me. Clutch is nice and light, seems very responsive, more than adequate get up and go in any gear, turns in very well and is surprisingly comfy. Out tomorrow for a few hours early, in between flagging the garden.
So far, loving it!

Other half bought himself a Vespa PK (that may or may not have a bigger engine than standard in it) so he can keep me company / other road users safe while out on rides. Today was our first ride out together

I’m still not sure bike life is for me but was nice only spending £8 at the petrol station! Just need to keep putting some rides in.

TBH I don't enjoy riding lots of bikes - really you need to pass your test and try a few bigger bikes, it's not just because of the speed they offer but the looks / feel / character

Glad you are enjoying it.

I imagine it still feels very quick when you get up in the revs?
