Great choice of bike. I've got one too and I've had it a year. Use it on the road and on track and can't believe how good it is

Bit late to the party but I was away in Wales on a roadtrip until Sunday. Got back late afternoon and had to get the bike out. Went to Burrington Combe which is similar to Cheddar Gorge, only quieter and the road is a bit more open. Having done a lot of green laning over winter on my other bike, it was really nice to get out for a few hours on the 600.

Took part in my first ever harescramble at the weekend (British Columbia Off-Road Championship). 280+ riders in class, 2.5 hours of non-stop racing. Loved it.

Blast out today to test some suspension tweaks.

Maybe the angle of photo Rick but looks like the wee grommets on the tank cowling aren’t seated correctly? I seen you mentioned the Tank was off recently

It is the angle of the photo. It is fully seated, both the side grommets and two tabs on the rear of the cowl. smile

Nice little blast yesterday, only stopped for one photo although went past a roadside photographer so should have a couple of ‘action shots’ of the new bike soon wink
Its a shame that little burger van hasn't been up in that carpark since Covid - used to be a lovely place to stop and watch the bikes go by, every time I ride though there I normally miss the photographers by an hour or two despite it being a regular haunt! Although I do wonder what it will end up like with all the development opposite fort burgoyne.

MOT dealt with, new chain and sprockets to fit when I get time (not an advisory, just want it doing due to age/miles). Happy days smile

I thought that looked familiar, but couldn’t place it until I read the post, been there many a time and very nearly died once.

Lovely bike BTW. A proper sized sports bike.

An afternoon out exploring. It's funny, it was 25C today and there are still piles of snow, the weather turns so fast.

Deposit down on this 2020 S1000XR yesterday. Nearly 2 years with my 2017 Fireblade SP (which I've loved for the most part - but its not comfortable enough for the riding I want to do/am doing) and felt like a change

Looking forward to being more comfortable again

Apologies to black-k1 for buying a bike with a top box, I know he won't approve angel

Bought this ZZR today, looking forward to a few longer range trips this year and didn’t want to break the bank.

Friend of mine has just bought one of these for the exact same reason, he is off to Italy in June on it, he's liking the power already..

Have my Dad;s Bantam all set for this Summer now, had to have the brake drum skimmed(which not many places could do without removing/disassembling the hub from the wheel) to improve the poor performance, nice new set of Girling shoes!

Thats a name you dont see mentioned often in the bike world!

Full service, new parts, inc new front and rear number plate letters and a good polish up..Its a lovely looking thing , ive grown quite fond of it , my Dad loves riding it.

YSR made it to the MOT centre and back with a pass this afternoon .

Hopefully a less fraught Summer on the speedblock little meanie..

Very nice, Bantams are the Fizzy/AP's of your Fathers youth/first motorcycle. Yep, it's been a long time since I heard Girling brakes mentioned.
