Your 2015 Bikey plans
Discussion
I've got a top year booked up!!!
Got a couple of enduros to do and loads of green laning planned, off to the TT then come back and am riding down to Bordeaux to a mates wedding, then heading down to Spain to meet up with a load of friends to ride around Portugal plus I'm going to book a couple of track days, looking forward to a bit of Tarmac riding as since November ive only ridden the hard stuff once! Getting muddy at the moment is pretty fun though!!

Planning to do Grossglockner Alpine Road this summer. Also going to the TT for a week, a few trips to Wales, and hopefully a Scotland trip if there's time.
I try to do the Grossglockner every year. Not the fastest or most challenging of roads, but it's not all hairpins either – and the views will make you laugh out loud. Ride up to the biker's point and it looks like the first 100m of land in front of you is real, then the rest is a giant oil painting. Took this the last time I was there (2013 - it was too rainy to do it in 2014!)TimmyWimmyWoo said:

Sell the R1 mid-year (if I can't convince the Mrs it's a good idea to keep it as a track bike).
Buy something brand new and spangly - short list changes weekly, but think I need to scratch the performance naked itch.
Do a couple of track days
Do a couple of long weekender bike trips in Wales and West Country as it looks like a Spanish Pyranees visit is not going to pan out.
Put some miles on the 1198.
Put together lots of bikey films with my new Drift Ghost-S.

Seeing as last year ended in disaster at the side of the trans-Amazonian highway with a broken tib & fib I am going to be fairly modest in my aims this year - get riding again in the spring and stick to tarmac and no accidents.
Will be sticking with the Bandit 1250 as it is a good bike and can't afford anything newer/more thrilling this year
Hopefully manage to get away for a week in the Alps sometime in the summer if all goes well.

Fit all the spangly parts to my ZX10R,
I was thinking of selling it and buying a new bike but, it's paid for and doesn't owe me anything so spending the difference of buying new on upgrades.
Lots purchased so far but not fitted due to other commitments
1) Finish bike upgrades
2) More trackdays
3) Ride More

St Petersburg. Hopefully.
Out via Holland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Finland. Back via Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Germany and Holland.
We'd love to do stuff like that, too busy currently though Out via Holland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Finland. Back via Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Germany and Holland.
First actual real world biking plan of 2015, charge up the battery! Not used my bike since last commuting journey on 18th Dec, it lives outside covered and its been a bit cold down here of late.
It started reluctantly today, did some basic maintenance/checks while the engine got up to temp. However it wouldn't restart.. so off the bike charging now ready for tomorrow AM back to work!
