However currently bikes are now pushed to the sides as the garage is full of building supplies due to a delayed extension…

No quite the vision I had in my head when I started it, but it'll do until the 50ft eucalyptus tree, 15 ft away from the garage falls on top of it.
Look nice n cosy with the carpet!

Back when I used to have a bike:

This is getting knocked down and re-built bigger and better in a few months. Then I'll get a new bike. Hope to one day have a decent collection like some of you.

That's not a bad size at all in my opinion.

It's not. It's made out of concrete pre-fab panels bolted together. Vines grow through the gaps, and water seaps in one side. If it was masonry I'd leave it alone.

The plan is to give it a major refit this year. Decoration, a new Floor (not quite sure what type) and a Beta Tool Cabinet.

My garage is a similar size and I'm trying to work out how much hassle it would be to have both a bike and my MX-5 parked in the garage. In theory they will both fit with the bike parked across the front of the MX-5 but it would be very tight and require the bike to be parked on a dolly or necessitate a 15 point turn to get it in!

If your bike has a centrestand the dolly isn’t hard to use, my GPZ lives on one for ease of shifting out of the way.
One of these in fact https://www.toolden.co.uk/p/sealey-ms0651-motorcyc...

Re read what I wrote. I said it was a nice size, I did not coment in how it was built. Nice size as in how much space there is for your car and various motorcycles if all the space as utilised just for that.
Then by your own admission, you said had it been masonry you would leave it. That says you might also be happy with its size/foot print.

I’m just having the Lounge decorated at the moment so I’ve taken down my Oil Painting of Joey Dunlop at the 1988 TT Races

As regards the garage the Leon idea is greattongue out. I’ll see what I can get and keep you posted.

15 years ago when the children were younger, I parked my then new E60 5 Series in that garage (children’s bikes, footballs and cars don’t mix). It would go in (just) with a tyre at the end.

I may actually put my current car (BMW M440) in the garage and build a smaller workshop at the end of the garden, that would accommodate the bike. That’s assuming I don’t give up biking (but that’s a separate story).

Lost my single garage when we extended the house so now have my “mini” garage.

It’s just about big enough I think, got my tools in there now and an old ikea wardrobe got a second lease of life for my gear, need to look at flooring this year.

Still somewhat of a work in progress and more recently a crap dumping ground owing to renovation works on the house.
