After recovering from a dog attack, that meant she couldn't wear her helmet for a few months, my daughter got back on her quad last month, and then started expressing an interest in riding 2 wheels too.

So we have have done the same as with her quad, bought a cheap one to try her, and will replace with a proper brand if she keeps on with it.

Sorry too hear about the dog attack on your daughter, I hope that she is fully recovered. I see lots of young girls/teenagers getting into moto cross, many of them are really good at it.

Thanks, as you can see, it was a real mess, and needed 11 stitches. It is still bright red, and hurts when she is cold, but she is doing ok physically, but hates anyone looking at it.

She has always been into anything with an engine, and started with a petrol quad, and then changed to an electric 36v quad, that had more power than the 50cc petrol one. But after going to some speedway meetings, and then watching the beach race at Skegness last month, the idea of 2 wheels has grown on here.

At least there are more tracks for MX than quads. Who knows she may be racing in a few years.

Tell me about it, her sister is into gymnastics, and swimming, so a few costumes, and the expense is over.

Not so with Chloe.

She says thank you to all, for the well wishes.

I've been told she wants pictures with her bike, and quad tomorrow. So I'll post them too, if anyone is interested.
