I eventually got there and added a connector to my new sat nav so it can be easily removed.

Phew

Not sure how well those connectors will fare in bad weather, I use these:

I'd agree with that, a bit of moisture in there when its raining could cause an issue or two biggrin

Maybe, although I won't stand a chance against an RD125 biggrin

I'm probably going to sell it and put the proceeds towards a track bike, I don't really need or want a commuter 125, I only bought it because it was cheap and there's 100% profit in it.

I don't go out in the rain, when it's disconnected I will put a rubber cap over the top of the lead. Those superseal do not work, as it is a 1 way connector with ground sheath around it. So you need a jack type plug. I soldered the wires to the connectors.

It is only 5v DC so no big deal if it does get wet and will only blow the in line fuse and just run off the battery in the Sat Nav.

Stripped all the bodywork off my 'Blade today and repaired the crack in the top fairing where it fell off the paddock stand last year.

Used this stuff

Mrs Gunk wasn't too happy about me using the kitchen table!

Have had my new (to me) R1150R a couple of weeks - first proper ride out Friday morning, but the roads were horrible with salt + traffic, so felt that justified another ride yesterday once the sun had come out!

Loads of bikes up on Dartmoor! smile

Hmm, hows that an R1-M, looks like the suspension, wheels, brakes and bodywork have gone making it at street-fighter R1.

Greetings from Adra on the Med smile

This morning's view from the start of the coastal route from Motril:

Adding another 265 miles today of mostly coastal roads:

Start heading north tomorrow. Roads through Andalusia and the Sierra Nevada have been nothing short of spectacular. Better than the Pyrenees for sure! Full report to follow when we get back.

And yes, there was snow and sheet ice at the top of the A-337. But what a spectacular ride!
