After 4+ years of riding with a stock exhaust it was time to get a full system fitted
Not quite 4 years yet but I had a similar plan at the weekend...Out with the old
and in with the new
Fitted
Pretty happy, it is quite loud Just need to reset / look into the engine light, may have knackered the o2 sensor cable or something!

At Motorcycle Live and decided to see if my prejudice against electric bikes was justified
Test rode Zero SR/F - when everyone else started their engines I already felt like I was missing out
I was hoping for the 'instant torque" I'd been told about...
My arse, it was like riding a KTM 390
You could feel the electric motor through the bars and it really felt like a childs toy
Couldn't wait to give it back
Test route was far better than previous years

Finally got my bike shed sorted out with a new roof and lights, got my ramp back from my dads garage (after about 3 years) and got the old GPZ600r fired up after changing the plugs for ones that weren’t fouled.
More work to do sorting out the shed but for now it’s great to have a proper workshop again!
I didn’t expect the GPZ to be so compliant, might need a winter project after all.

18000 mile service on my 1200RS today, freezing bloody cold, but beautiful morning. Ran over to Finchingfield on the loaner 1000XR with my mate on his airhead 100RS.
The XR has some serious grunt in it, but the saddle & seating position is not for me & much preferred the ride home on my old familiar lump!

Thanks, it had a rebuild a few years ago costing more than it’s worth. It was my first bike 23 years ago so things got a bit silly.
Looks great and I can empathise with that completelySqueezing mine into my garage involves stepping sideways whilst pulling a bodybuilder stomach vacuum! It’s doable though, and I can get to all of them
