I've not been out since my waterlogged enduro experience where I nearly cried.

Probably not out next weekend as have a couple of weekends working and trying to find a car - probably late May.

Fleegle's is trying to pull together some dates for another jolly boys outing to da Wales if you are up for that.
Oh yes, that's assuming I can get another weekend pass. I'm doing so many hobby holidays this year I'm starting to feel just a little bit guilty. boxedin

The one I test rode was lovely. Great riding position that felt a little sporty but not uncomfortable. Flexibility of the engine was brilliant, there seemed to be torque everywhere, v useful for town. The one I rode also had Arrow exhausts (the 2 under seat ones, not the race jobby from the pic) which were ear splittingly loud and awesome, although I was wishing I had my earplugs with me after about 10 mins! Will have to see about that as a possibility after I take delivery depending on how good the standard system sounds. It also felt exceptionally agile and light, which makes sense as it's wet weight is about 45kg less than my GSX650F.

And it's almost exactly the same price to insure as my current bike to boot, so even better smile

I have the standard system, it sounds great while you're on the bike, but not nearly as loud as the arrow (I've only heard the full system). I'm looking forward to getting the full system sometime soon. I'm off to ride mine home now smile

The Scooter's pretty cool, IMHO.

Completely off topic, but if your'e at a loose end I shall be attending (hopefully riding, if the bike's sorted!) this on Saturday http://www.skellingthorpe-motorcycleclub.org.uk/20... which I believe is in your neck of the woods?

Had something like 600 bikes last year apparently, and they fired the Lancaster up smile

ETA; then hanging about up there for classic bike racing at Cadwell on Sunday/Monday!

Won't it topple over when you park up?

I'm sure that's only a minor design flaw
