Following lunch with Pete yesterday and a conversation about projects, I got home with a mission planted firmly in my head.
After an awful lot of organising, moving and puffing, I found this dusty old thing in the corner of my garage.
If anyone wonders what Fleegle sounds like, he did a walk around the Laverda after getting it out. I've subtitled the video - watch the first minute. After an awful lot of organising, moving and puffing, I found this dusty old thing in the corner of my garage.

Christ! I feel like I've been asleep for the past 24 hrs- there's some interesting stuff & comments been posted on here just since yesterday evening.
Simon- the aviation centre at East Kirby is only about 12 miles away but sadly have to be at the shop all day. Thanks for mentioning I'd have loved to pop over. We went with Lincolnshire BIke Nights a couple of years ago for the Lancaster engine run up-fabulous- & some really nice bikes there (once you ignore all the cruiser Harley brigade )

See you at Cadwell on Sunday/Monday then
Looking for something up on a shelf in the back of the old man's garage and found an old Polaroid of my Morini, as I got it in 1995. Chuffed to bits, I thought all the old photo's of it from before the restoration were long since lost.
Mad to think how things have changed from the Polaroid days so quickly

So sorry- another time perhaps?
(I shall be cheering for the all blue Hondas )
My new toy. Part-x'ed my '94 750W for this beaut. Didn't really bond with the old GSXR.
But this one I love to bits. It's so light and nimble and the perfect fix for my high RPM - rag the titties off it - fetish!
I've since removed most of the silly stickers and replaced the overly loud Leo can with the original one until I can source a proper full size carbon box.

Took this down poole quay bike night last night, it's basically finished now...
Very surprised at how much attention it got, compared to the expensive stuff down there. I suspect if i'd stuck a for sale sign on it i could have flogged it a few times over. Silly really, they arent exactly pricey, but it was nice to see after the amount of time ive put into it.

What's the 282 signify? Used to be in your username too IIRC?

Yup, that's all it is. It's part of the capri number plate and it just sort of stuck.
I'm still not sold on the headlight, i dont know if it's legal tbh. It uses those bulbs like the ones people have in kitchen lighting.

I quite like those Acerbis ones. There's the UFO ones with the stacked headlights too. Not sure on legality with any of them, but the post 2005 KTM EXC ones just attach via rubber bungs around the forks and look nice and modern - these are road legal and they do the headlight masks in black too.Yup, that's all it is. I do believe it's illegal to show anything like a race number on the front thought ?
I've heard this from many sources. I've never had a problem with MoTs with cars or bikes with race numbers on, but I take black electrical tape with me as apparently all you need to do is to put a line through the numbers when on the road. Not sure how much is urban legend or not, but MoT testers have never said anything to me about it and I don't point them out by asking.
Can't remember if I posted this on here before - I've posted too many pictures to go through them all to see!
A cartoon of a mates 911 I did a while back
Which is now available here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Porsche-911-drawing-pict...
There's another bike on the drawing board now. Yep, I'm proud so you'll have to put up with my self indulgence for a while
