I would guess half way between Bealach na Ba and Sheildaig on the coast road as there’s often heilan’ coos at the side of the road (or in the road) there?

Heres mine from last week same bit of road..

Same place. Leather, before and after.

Gave the bike a good clean after a recent yearly aprilia track day. Might be getting on with its style now but still really like these bikes

Dragged this magnificent, underrated marvel of Czech engineering out of the shed.

It's not been on the road for 30 years.

I walked round it, searching for inspiration.

But found none.

So dragged it back into the shed.

I'm surprised more of these didn't get snapped up as a means to building a cheap caff. Bones and lines are there to make a pretty reasonable one cheaply.
Yep.

I am a bit to old to wrestle with clip-ons and rear sets, but I think it could be made into a nice street scrambler. A bit like the factory 350 Californian of the late 1960s....

Near Nurburg, Germany.

First bike tour, first time riding in Europe, first time at the Nurburgring, spent the first 3 days building up the balls to go on, went to get a ticket and the track was closed due to 3 crashes including 2 bikes. Next year it is!

Touring on a speed triple wasn't as bad as I thought

Precisely wink

It actually only goes up to halfway of my torso, Little too high for a chest rest but can rest you're chin quite comfortably

There are some really good roads in the vicinity of the 'ring, i ended up going to Cochem for an afternoon on my last trip.

I've done a few laps in my time only about 30% of them have been in the dry, none with track tyres on, had loads of closures which is usual for TF I suppose. I love the place but would have no interest in doing it on 2 wheels, a bit too risky for me.

My new ‘Australian’ bike (can’t spin photos!).

K1300GT which is a change after many Hondas.

Only 100 miles ridden this far so getting used to it.

We done a route through cochem, nice area and the roads were amazing but my favourite routes were around the eifel region, couldn't believe how sharp some of the hairpins were!
