My drive is on a slight incline. I use that to hold the front brake on when put he bike on rear paddock stand to stop it from wanting to roll backwards.

Looks like quite a hill, hope it was parked in gear.

It's quite deceptive from that photo, it's only the slightest of inclines at that point

Cheers mate. It was taken at Bressingham steam museum, near Diss in Norfolk. We stopped there for a cup of tea as there’s a nice cafe there.

Test rode this yesterday, thanks to Pidcock Motorcycles. I loved it, the only problem is that it is so expensive I will now be keeping an eye out for a nice R1200RT - Hopefully it won't be spoiled by having only tried the shift cam engine.

Ha ha. I've got the Failed Scrutineering sticker on my 999R. I've got most of the stickers from that set still on the backing sheet and I might liberate one for my ZX9R and the mock Ohlins sticker will go onto the next bike!

Gave the bike a good clean after a recent yearly aprilia track day. Might be getting on with its style now but still really like these bikes

Still looks fresh. Needs a cosmetic tweak but it’s still a fab bike. Watched a recent review where they said it was still the best super naked. They nailed it.

I've still got most of them on their backing sheets including the 'failed scutineeing' one, the tuned two stroke bomb was a good one along with the mad blue fish hehe

Got out for a while tonight, little trip over to St Albans to get some stuff from the pudding stop. I think it's the first time my wife has practically pushed me out of the door to go for a ride.

It rained until lunchtime and then cleared up.

First 2 sessions it was filthy wet. 3rd session was on a drying track and the last 2 sessions of the day were dry.

Wednesday last week I done the NC500 in one day, on a loan MV Augusta Turismo Veloce Rosso 800
I am on knife edge decision to do this in a couple of weeks from Manchester. Day one ride up Thursday afternoon, Friday smash the entire lot, Saturday ride back. Long way.
Do it. That's exactly what I done.

Day 1 - Bracknell to Inverness 642 miles
Day 2 - NC500 519 miles (10hrs 46 mins riding time, and around 13 hrs all in with fuel and photo stops etc)
Day 3 - Inverness to Bracknell via the highest pubs in Scotland, England and Wales. 748 miles door to door, so I looped the M25 back up to Bicester, down to Winchester and then home to do 1,021 miles in 19 hrs and 55 mins.

Was a long three days, the MV lapped it up with only a puncture on the 1,000 miles slowing us down.
