Great picture!
Good to hear that you are doing okay. Best wishes for future treatment (whenever it happens!)
Are you still thinking about getting another bike?
I’m still thinking about another bike. Whether or not I end up with on, I’ve no idea. I do miss my Scandinavian trips and it’d also be better for commuting to work. Good to hear that you are doing okay. Best wishes for future treatment (whenever it happens!)

I was walking The Idiot round the block last thing Saturday night. I slid on my good leg on a wet leaf, with it shooting out in front of me and tried to put my duff leg down to steady me. It did it’s occasional trick of the knee going the wrong way, folding up under me, twisting my knee and ankle in the process, quickly followed by me going down like a sack of spuds. I’ve obviously sprained my ankle and twisted my knee, which is also swollen, but less impressively bruised.
Have another.
Have another.

Poor Dibble is laid up with yet more damage and all you noticed Is his strange toes!!!
How the hell I’ve managed to bruise the base of those two toes in all this, I have no idea!

I’ll have the fourth toe on my right foot looking odd (I’d never noticed it until someone else said the same today!), but I can confirm the big toe is there.

Bruising comes out where the blood runs to - I had something similar a few years back - although it was my ankle/foot/toes that went amazing colours, the reason was a swelling on my knee which must have popped a vein up there:How the hell I’ve managed to bruise the base of those two toes in all this, I have no idea!
BTW, looks like you suffer ingrowing big toenail/s... my grandmother gave me a tip many years ago: clip a V in the middle of the nail, more-or-less down to the quick, and then the nail pushes in towards the middle rather than out into the skin. It took a few weeks/months to heal up, but I was a teenager then and now I'm 50 with no problems since
