So left to right, BN, Fleegle, JBL, olly22n, Loon & Mitzy, McKean, Dave M (not his PH handle) and Andy XRV
Fleegle had a yellow 2nd gen R1 at the time if I remember correctly.
It was a good fun easy going day and my first ever TD.

He was in another piece of classic Australia film: Stone https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stone_(1974_film)He is on the left of the picture above. The director, producer and a main actor of Stone died about two weeks ago. He's the guy holding the shotgun https://www.bikesales.com.au/editorial/details/val...

Bloody hell. I never realised it was the same bad guy in both films. Proper larger than life characters, well acted (relatively) as well.
It had been out a number of years prior, but I grew up watching Mad Max at a daft young age. Crossplane V8s and evil bikers.
So much did I love that film at 17 I actually looked at importing a Ford Falcon and getting the body kit and fake (as I believe was the one in the film) supercharger. Thank Christ I didn't.

Hi John,Yes, I took that one, borrowed your MTB to ride down to the bottom of Craner Curves, to find the brake didn't work
I haven't been riding my bikes much this year, so haven't really been on BB much, it's mostly DIY I have been doing this year. I was due to go on a bike trip to Scotland with another PB/BB'er, but injured my leg a few days before hand that left me housebound for a few weeks so that put paid to that.
The bikes have been mostly unloved this year, I hope they are still in the garage as I haven't actually looked at them for 4 weeks as I decamped to warmer climates to escape lockdown.

Ha ha yeah I think they were extras and probably had a few drinks before they shot that scene. I wonder if the blokes who stacked their bikes and the bloke who fell off the back of one of the bikes and dropped his drink ever lived it down!
