fk bikes in this weather,

I've now finished wasting money on winter kit for the bike I have no intention of using so decided to get this delivered last weekend, I now have 2 emtb bikes but this one has some top factory components on it to justify the ridiculous high price and my man maths so its obviously better than my old 12 month old emtb rolleyes

Any way, it beats riding the road bike in this weather.

It was a pretty good deal, £3200 of list, free end can and haggled a half decent apr for the finance.

You'll love it! Not with those SC until weather picks up though. If you plan to ride colder/damp before weather really picks up stick some winter shoes on it then switch back as it suits SC better

What did you have before? I've put 35k between the two I've owned now in last 4 years

Had a Street Triple RS, don’t intend using it in the winter, too cold up here.
I did do about 4miles last night taking it up to show MTB

Another great bike and one I enjoyed riding. Cant beat the Street triple on song! Better than the Speed in my opinion.

The guy who bought my old Tuono 1100 had the street. I rode his bike just before he px'd it. Was so much fun and handled amazing. Nothing on the bonkers performance of the Tuono but great for the tighter stuff

I'm scared looking at it...without the engine. rofl

Only experience with one of those was as a youth when some local lad had one as a 'field bike'. It was quite a surprise after the C90.

Yep still twin shock. Current one has Ohlins but non adjustable this one will be fully adjustable. Planned for Eastern Centre Evo MX then some club races throughout the year when they do either over 35s or pre 85. I wont do a full championship apart from the Eastern Centre one

For me, they lost their identity/look a little when they went monoshock..Good luck with the rounds you do anyway.

As the weather becomes increasingly pants and covid latest news worsens any real riding plans I thought I'd enjoy a weekend on my bike being I've not ridden in 3 weeks

Only stayed fairly local although still managed just under 150 miles which is madness as it didn't feel it

Bought off eBay a heated under jacket that runs off a 5v usb charge pack for less than 20 quid and wow!! Amazing it was so hot! That and my gerbing heated gloves recommended from here I thought it was a warm day until I stopped took my gloves off and reality kicked in

Anyways amongst the riding I did my local Burnham bends and the bike cafe at the end which is so friendly. Just enjoyed the simple things and got myself back home

Sometimes you just need this

Nice - always important to look after yourself, Covid vs going insane is an easy choice for me.

Can you share the link to the heated under-jacket? Sounds good to me, I wouldn't use it often enough to justify spending £££ on a "real" one, but a cheap jobby would be just the ticket.

p.s. Who doesn't love a nice bit of German sausage hehe
