Black is shorter travel and feels more powerful.
Red is longer travel and has more precision.
I always use black but it's personal preference
aka black feels like 20mm and red will feel like 18mm. You can actually see the offset and the associated change in leverage / feel in the picture.Red is longer travel and has more precision.

There's no right or wrong. I'm quite late on the brakes (due to slow bike) and quite like a spongey 4 finger lever. Quite handy this means I keep using the standard master cylinder - the cheap choice!
If you're really getting serious your front suspension spring rate & compression damping will be influenced by your braking style.

Thank you guys. Especially the picture! I need it on 20 so pb says as it feels better with the M4s and its currently on 18. I guess riding it will soon tellI had to get a converter to make it all fit as it didnt come with one and this is pinched of my mates bike. Where can I order one?
Spookily I just got an item from China. I wanted a table for the tent on race days. I got one off ebay from a UK seller for the princely sum of £15 delivered.
I nearly lost a bding finger erecting it. It has a real feel of quality about it with the brushed aluminium that's already scratched from just looking at it. You'd get motion sickness from trying to eat your Christmas dinner off it, I imagine it's going to be as sure footed as a mountain goat on a slight incline.
Good luck ocd, it's been nice knowing you. Least at your funeral I'll be able to bring my table for the spread.

Why would anyone replace a more than capable OE system on a bike for a Chinese aftermarket part, especially one that’s only going to see road use? Chinese parts are bloody lethal.
So serious I got fuel hose from ebay fitted it and it burst within miles whilst I was wearing t shirt and trackies. Every new bit I replaced disintegrated in minutes. Guess where I found out that was from.
I am the tightest on here with exception to mckeann/Prolapse possibly and even I wouldn't touch the st.

I have to say I expected better from you two. This is the kinda fkwittery purchases I am renowned for.
Only took me 30 years to realise I'm too poor to buy cheap.

Not seen much activity on this post for a bit so thought id say a thanks to all that helped and advised with the Brembo RCS19 on my Aprilia
Its a road bike not track although I'll be doing Spa, ring and maybe the odd track day on it
Not ridden in 2 months but took it out for the first time since the new setup as it was dry(ish) and 6-7 degrees which is bareable
All I can say is WOW...
Why I didnt just stop being a Jew and have this done 6 months ago I dont know. The difference is unreal.
Anyone who reads this in the future and has a 15-16 Tuono get the radial setup. Its night and day
After spending half a grand on two I'm just going to tell myself it's night and day regardless of my times never changing on track. It's the only way I can justify it as I have a bigger nose than you in the jew department. Its a road bike not track although I'll be doing Spa, ring and maybe the odd track day on it

Oi, I have first dibs at selling my ZX10R to MTB. I've been working on him for 2 years now. Moanthebairns
Nice bike Graeme, shame you have to sell it as a wet bike is always handy. If I get a new trackbike this year, I was probably going to keep the ZX10R as a reliable back up (unless Alex buys it)
On its last legs. It's a sturdy bd.
I've strived to keep it close to stock as I can...
I have occurred literally no expense.
