Good to hear a positive report on Tracksense. I'm off to Jerez with them in a couple of weeks
That's if I don't throw my fking bike down the drive trying to get this fking thumb brake to work !!!!!
They were good, no messing about, not too many in a group. Never doing another Euro day with NL again since they seem to have twice as many riders per group as these did. Also I like how quick they have been with the shipping. Dropped the bike off last Saturday, picking it up this Saturday!

Jerez looks awesome, I’ve just booked to go there in March with Pacedayz

Yeah, I've only heard good things about Tracksense, and the guy that answers the emails (Tony, I think) couldn't be more helpful
It's a shame the drop off isn't 5mins down the road like No Limits are.
Be interesting to see what the group sizes are in Jerez as it's a 4 group trip, but they do have live timing and swap the groups around, so at least they'll all be pretty equal.
Jerez has been on my to do list for a while, so looking forward to it
The only downer is some friends have just come back and said the tarmac is in a st state, and it was supposed to be resurfaced just before we go, but it's been now moved to Dec apparently
Saying that, I've done a million laps of Silverstone this year, so I'm quite used to bumps smile
I loved Alermia when I went a couple of winters ago. It hammered it down both days we were there, but there was only a few of us with wets, so they made it open pitlane. It's grippy track in the wet, but I bet it's mega in the dry

Wasn’t it only resurfaced this year? Least it should be good for when I go in March.

It’s a mega track. I didn’t like it at first but once I got used to the blind corners I loved it. It’s very abrasive on tyres though

Yeah it was resurfaced last year, fk knows why people are saying the surface is crap.

I didn't have or hear of anyone having tyre problems either.

Mates just said it was very bumpy in places compared to earlier this year when they last went

I was there end of May this year. I didn't notice any bad bumps. Anyway, you'll have a great time there.

Had a good few days at Almeria with Tracksense. First time I used them but would do again.

Weather was a bit hit and miss, first day was good but the rest was a bit cold or windy. Didn’t do the last day as loads of rain forecast which was a bit st as there was a fun race which I was on pole for. Got down to a 1:43.6 which was fairly happy with but my best sectors added together made a 1:42.2 so bit gutted to never string it all together. Can’t wait to go back there next year now

Looking good again George.

I've not been to Almeria since March 2014 when you were there. I reckon you'll have the beating of me now George.

I meant Almeria on the second bit! I’ve never been to Jerez before

Likewise! Did a trip to Portimao with Pacedayz a couple of years back and was impressed with the organisation so figured I'd try them again, this time at Jerez.

Bike and kit is all packed up and on it's way to Jerez.
Not been before, so I've smashed out about a million laps on Motogp17 and VR46 games on Xbox this week to try and work out where it goes
Added some new minty stripes to my bike too, as I've been bored having not ridden a big bike for over a month now

Awesome couple of days at Jerez so far, I think it's now my new Favourite track.
First day on Saturday was largely dry but cold, and took most of the day to work out which way the track went, and which corners you can carry the speed through, but eventually found my way around. Had a best of 1:53 on the first day, which has a fair few easy seconds in it now I've watched the footage back, and know the track a bit better
Yesterday was wet all day with really heavy rain in the morning, and on off showers for the rest of the day.
I managed to get 3rd on the overall timesheets yesterday in the afternoon when the rain had stopped, but the track was still wet.

Had a bit of a moment at 2;40ish on this video where I think I got a bit keen with the throttle, but other than that, it's a super grippy track in the wet
https://youtu.be/7m_ViDR3RNU

Got up this morning for the last day to heavy rain again frown

always sobering reading this ..

was dry all of my sessions this year

.... my first day at jerez I was doing got down to a 2:15
3rd day I managed at 2:10 and got bumped from novice to intermediate
4th day got a 2:08 but was tired and stiff (and 50) so didnt push any harder.

some of you lads are such leagues ahead tbh

partly my fault .. spent loads of time and energy on enduro bikes over the last 15 years ...so late to the track day party but 1:53 seems jolly quick !

Booked Jerez for next May with NoLimits. Hopefully work doesn’t get in the way of this one too.

I'm sure anyone who's booked for Cartagena in January(14-16) will have had an email about San Javier airport closing by now.
