Street Triples are amazing, you'll enjoy it.
I read tonight that Triumph are retiring the Daytona 675 after 11 years, because it will cost too much money to make it Euro 4 compliant against a backdrop of declining sales. So, I must try one of those out next year!
A 675 is on my list of must ride bikes as well, my friend used to have the R version, great looking bike.I read tonight that Triumph are retiring the Daytona 675 after 11 years, because it will cost too much money to make it Euro 4 compliant against a backdrop of declining sales. How about changing your forum name back to what it was. 1. Buy new bike in Jan/Feb when prices are low. Can't make up my mind: KTM 690 SMC R, Enduro R, Kwak Z900, Yam MT09..... Too many choices around £8K!!!!
2. Wheelie school - is the one near Guildford any good? I think its at the Top gear test track(???)
3. Super Moto school: is there such a thing???

Having had a pretty bad year all round (multiple deaths in the family and potential long term illness and a rather painful operation) I rewarded myself with a new Monster 821 to commute on. But next year I have the following goals:
- Manage at least one track day with my mates, 2015 and I did around 6. 2016 0.
- I have some friends who have just passed and want to do a small France trip.
- Ride to Italy for World Ducati week.
- Ride the MV more.
- Find some new bike routes
- Buy a new helmet
- Get more organised with the MVOCUK admin.

1. Get some leathers and do a track day
2. A few days mini tour in Wales
3. At least a week touring Scotland
4. Off road school
5. IAM or ROSPA
I'm now the proud owner of some secondhand but unused 2 piece leathers, just need some boots (the zip in mine is borked) and then I'm ready for a trackday. Current plan is an Anglesey long weekend with the father.2. A few days mini tour in Wales

Got a RAM mount, small tent, soft panniers and some other bits sorted for a bit of camping.
Binned the off road school plan but I am doing another day at i2i instead.
Will leave IAM or ROSPA until next year; my time and funds are limited this year and I just want to get out and ride!
How's everyone else doing? I still haven't been out on the bike yet this year but I can feel it getting closer
1) Ride (a lot) more than 1 track-day and a day on country roads (2016)
2) Trackday at Assen with my mates.
3) Possibly sell the SP-1 after that, if I haven't fallen in love with it yet.
4) Get a very light bike to practice wheelieing
5) Keep the Vespa. It doesn't cost anything and the Mrs. likes it.

1. The ride to Nurburgring, not crashing going round it and the ride back
2. IOM TT Race week, again not crashing over the mountain section
3. Getting my track bike dialed in as sweet as my last one and beating my pb times as a personal self goal. Namely Cadwell sub 1.40's
4. Get my son back into racing rather than just practice days
5. Stop spending money on bike stuff all the time which really isn't needed
6. Maybe look at an Enduro bike and getting back into my routes of off-road riding
7. One Euro trip again on the track bike
