Vickers on the 2nd OMG bike.

Have to say that I am slightly surprised at that.

Yeah I am as well to be honest. Nothing against Ryan but that's a championship winning bike and I just don't see him being a regular front runner.
Hope he proves me wrong though! good luck to him.

I'm surprised too, Ryan is a quick rider but my lasting impression from the last couple of seasons is that the bike finishes in the hedge more often than not.

Who knows though, maybe he'll gel with the Yamaha better, maybe on a front running bike he won't need to push as hard, etc? Looking forward to finding out!

Look at Brad Ray on the Suzuki and then the BMW, mid pack at best and in the case of the Suzuki, often the infield - Snetterton for example - but on the R1....dominant. Maybe Vickers will do the same, good ride for Ryan is that and i think the OMG team prefer to promote young riders rather than bring in an older rider.

Be surprised if Taz is not confirmed back with his current team, can't see anything better available.

Leon to a privately run team of his own or retirement.

Brad won a couple of races at the start of 2018 on the Suzuki before it started going wrong. Second season in BSB I think.

Vickers obviously has speed but he hasn't shown what Brad did then yet.

Yes that is true but my point was, he had a brief flash of inspiration, then became mid field until he got on the R1. Maybe Vickers will do the same and find the bike is just what he needed to be on.

The rumour is that Taz is trying to get a ride sorted with the MIE Honda WSBk team, and if that doesn't happen, has a place on the Mcams bike

I know Leon has something in the pipeline for BSB too, but is just a case of sorting contracts and infrastructure

Would Haslam get the Mcams seat if Taz does get to WSB? If not who else is left for it?

Who knows, but I'm sure they won't have a problem filling it
I hear Higgs has put some budget up to get someone from the world stage in, much like he did with Redding and Sykes as that brought people through the gates in droves

Still nothing on anything that I've heard, just fresh speculation
I guess, with Taz, only time will tell

Would not be shocked if Mackenzie went Supersport in SBK, good, thriving series out there, and would be in paddock rather than trying to do it from here.

Shocked by Vickers, but IU would not touch Ryde either, starts well but fades every time, cant ride on worn tyres it seems

Yep.
Interesting this one. Lots of talk he wasnt happy with track safety in the US, otherwise would have gone there.

The WSBK feed this weekend were suggesting the Xavi Fores had dome enough to keep the seat, so who knows.

Wsbk is looking like it'll be good next year , not that it was bad this year.
