Any mods on the R1? What year is it, etc?

C'mon man.....details!
It's an 04, just over 4k on the clock and as clean as a whistle.

Ohlins rear shock.
K tech front forks.
Harris adjustable bars.
Diamond rear sets.
520 chain conversion.
WP steering damper.
Key less filler cap.
Carbon Kevlar bodywork.

There's a thread on Hooners.

Plenty of work in the garage for the R1's track debut at Cadwell on the 15th.

No road riding in this weather, I'm not stupid.
15th?? you on for 2 days cos i thought it was 14th, you goin on same one as Stu?
Just the one day Craig.

Some of the others are doing the 2 days, and some of them are staying over night not far from the circuit.

Valentines day on the 14th so I'd be pushing my luck doing a double day.

Besides, it's too bloody cold.
im over helpin a few guys who are testing, also offered my services to the hooners lot via stu, let me know if your staying over and you can pop round ours for some proper grub and a few bevvies if ya want

If the weather stays dry and non too cold I will probably take the 'cat out for its first outing of 2009, provided the freshly charged battery works.

Just picked my 600 Hornet up from the local Honda dealer - ride back was interesting! Glad to be home though and will be braving the cold again after lunch, armed with a bottle of SDOC gel cleaner and a few buckets of water!

Windchill when it's 1c outside and you're doing 40mph hurts like hell.

Went to Bahnstormer and had a look at the new k1300 range, booked test rides on the R and S; both bikes look good!

I was really surprised just how much snow there still was around Alton and Basingstoke, some of the roads were still icey which I didnt really expect.

A lovely dry day in the Midlands today! smile Took the bike over to Stratford for a bimble and popped into my local dealer for a nose about. Saw a few bikes out and about and a stunning silver Murcielago Roadster! biggrin

Let's hope tomorrow is as nice because I can feel another ride coming on

No more ticking CBR can't believe I waited so long to change the tensioner.
Main roads were fairly good and it wasn't as cold as I thought.
A good day smile
