Donington is well worth the trip and there's a Motorway services nearby that has a Travelodge / Premier Inn with rooms for £25-30 a night. That's an option worth taking up just to save a few hours drive in the morning.

Then hire a van. They aren't that expensive if you split the cost and book in advance.

Works out a 3 day hire coming from Scotland as you can't get it back in time.

That'll be the plan, once I have new bike sorted I'll post up on here and book something, prob do the aforementioned Croft date too, have you found your mojo down the back of the sofa yet?

Not sat on a bike since, not had any desire to. Croft will be either be part of the healing process or the end of an era.

£100 for 3 days seems a good option to me, especially so you could sleep in a hotel and not camp!

see if your bouncing off the walls in our camping pod at night like a tit in a trance your sleeping in the fking car.

I'm not having, "pssst mtb, prolapse, are you awake, I cant sleep im too excited all night" or the ET Mobile phone glow that illuminates the room when you try and go on it whilst your other half is sleeping. And don't even think about waking up before sunrise like a kid on Christmas day.
