And yes, Ducati twins have never been about pottering about town, especially R-spec motors. Not sure about the destroy themselves bit as I've had faultfree miles on mine over long distance. But never would I rate an engine based on town-friendliness! The big Dukes always have a gigantic elastic power band, similar to the way big Ferrari V12s behave in cars.
Is that your 1098R in the latest copy of PB? My excuse for a memory thinks you're an "Ade" and the bike on p.24 has been extensively fiddled with / super-finished bits etc and looks vaguely familiar.

Wet run through Perthshire and up towards Braemar where I (just) failed to get above the clouds. 4 hours in the rain with no waterproofs, I take what I can these days!

Bonus points if you can identify the car I'm parked next to.

I'm similarly guessing it was either a slightly bigger Evoque, or a new Disco.

Exciting stuff. biglaugh

Looks like the https://www.landrover.co.uk/vehicles/range-rover-v... surprised they still had the wrapping on it though as it was at goodwood.

The wrap was pretty battered to be honest, the alloys doubly so. So it is possible they just couldn't be arsed pulling the wrap off an already released model. It is a nice part of the world to go for a run.

It's always fun to see "prototype wrap" though.

Good to see it running - you bought it when I first had my VFR - which in a fit of pique I sold over two years ago!

So he crashed it, picked it up, tried to start it, it wouldn't work, he threw it on the floor and then photographed it??

He's been watching far too much Moto3! hehe
