How come I can fit on a 600 Honda but not a 1000cc Honda.

I never thought a bike would have me beaten!

It sounds like you are feeling the exact same way as I am with my R1. A couple of weeks ago I was ready to sell it even though id probably struggle to get something else that's in as nice condition.

Ive been thinking a lot and have come to the conclusion that I was the same with the GSXR when first got it. The more miles did on it the more used to it I get. Getting rid of that was a bit like throwing away a old slob it around the house t shirt - why cant they all feel like this.

Im slowly getting used to the R1 with some changes to how I ride ( although that's not for a old hand like you ) and a few tweeks on the bike im feeling a lot better with it. When its right it feels great I just want it to be like that more consistently.

has anyone used gb moto? are they like that j4race, where it was uk company house but Chinese rearsets.

I have a hanger from a guy locally for £35 (weird one I called him up and asked as he was breaking one, "sorry its sold mate" ok no problem, got a text later "got a guy buying it for £30 if you beat it you have it" so offered £35 and he said pick it up."

anyway, I cant justify £350 for gilles, and these are the only ones that aren't Chinese.

That said, the manufactures one wasn't exactly great.

I bought some carbon fibre off them a few weeks back. Ordered at 1pm and turned up the next morning.
What a ball ache this is.

I showed up at a guy’s house to buy the hanger I need in Glasgow at the arranged time of 5. He was an hour late then proceeded to struggle to remove the bolt from the hanger.

I told him its thread locked on he will never get it out with an Allen key.

After he realised this he then wanted to sell me the whole unit, you could see the oxidisation of it, the hanger looked fked.

Turns out though I can’t get valter moto rear sets in the uk for another month at least

And gb moto is Chinese rear sets, rebranded in some guys house for £190, fk that
