I've done over 13k miles on her. She's only ever been washed by detailing spray or Pledge in that time. She gets a quick wipe over before she goes out, and a proper clean before she gets put in the garage again.
It also gets licked every other evening whilst sitting in the garage.....................RizzoTheRat said:
The wife wanted to nip in to town for a bit of shopping so had to find my own amusement for the morning
Have you been with its TT week? Curious to know how they are about you going over the mountain at 3 digit speeds and general riding about as Im told the 50s go back to national after TTuploading images
Mine on the left and my dads on the right, up on the Evo on Saturday morning just before we got drenched.

I've not been in race week. A few 50 limits around but mainly unlimited once out of town alistair1234 said:

My thinking too but everyone has their own opinion I rode for 2 years an mv agusta dragster rr and one of my best biker pals had the 675r triple
He did 20k on his before blowing the bottom end up and I did 10k on mine
He now has an MT10 and I have a Tuono. At first it was a bit daunting as I was used to thrashing an 800 triple but it didn't take long to get adjusted to the sheer torque
And there is nothing better than being on an upright bike with creature comforts, all the latest tech, able to ride 250+ miles in a day without breaking a sweat and holding its own with 5+ year old 1000cc superbikes
I won't run anything else and I still get an average of 36-40mpg

Wind protection is the problem. Making them very uncomfortable for sustained 90+.I rode for 2 years an mv agusta dragster rr and one of my best biker pals had the 675r triple

Depends where you ride too, IMO if I'm doing a sustained 90 I'm on the wrong road.
Agreed - not to mention the issue of picking up point or a banIf I'm the wrong side of 90 I want to do it where I've minimized the risk of being caught and I'm not at those speeds for long these days
Riding back from nurburgring the last part before calais is a good full tank until empty of motorway. I have to agree above 90-95 for any long periods sucks
I'd go to 120ish and then need to drop back as my neck started to ache. Mate on his zx10r might as well had a cup of tea and could've run that pace all day long
I much prefer brutal acceleration upto 120 momentarily and corners/twisties though like others have said

I've not been in race week. A few 50 limits around but mainly unlimited once out of town You can reach reasonable speeds on the mountain but outside of TT week, the locals use this road as the main South-North route, often lorries who have dragged up from Douglas with quite a queue behind them making some overtaking opportunities impossible.
No different to A-roads in the UK mind.
