Reversed the heads?
No, just got them on the wrong sides!!Really, I think this is what's been done as the plugs are still outer most.

Ignoring the upside down photo, there's a common novice mistake that gets made. Did you try to put in gear with the side stand down? You'd be amazed how many people make that simple mistake.
sorry about the photo, ithing shenanigans. No i had the stand up, it seems to be a problem on the bike as 2 other owners reported the same thing within 2 weeks of collecting the bike - some sort of intermittent fault on the kickstand sensor, tried it again today - stand up, went in gear fine. back to neutral, stand down, start in neutral, stand up, put in first kills engine - other owners got it fixed under warranty so maybe dodgy parts out of the factory.

The worrying thing is I actually really, really enjoyed riding in the rain on the road.....more than I have in the dry for months....I have no idea wtf is wrong with me.
I wouldn't go out in the rain but getting caught out in it is a different matter, I hear you though. Riding in the rain slows things down and makes you nice and smooth, instead of grabbing a big bks every opportunity. It tells me you actually enjoyed riding slower limited by the wet roads twizellb said:

Yes but it's always pissing down, we have had 3 completely dry days in the last month, that's st in anyone's book.Another great blast tonight. Met at the usual biker pub near us then went off for an enthusiastic ride
One of our lot who had the trumpet 1050r just px'd for the new Duke 1200s
It's a fair bit quicker but handles like an old barge (his words not mine) and needs a decent setup. He found the WC even on one intrusive?
It's much thinner to sit on compared to the mt10
I also can tick off my bucket list that I've now been in a fire engine
