I LOVE IT ALRIGHT
Lol! I'm genuinely quite jealous, I hate being insurance cost limited due to living in London...makes me feel like I'm 17 again Yeah, I did by the BMW, complicated story - timeline since I started riding in Dec last year:
Buy GSX650F --> trade in for Street Triple R --> STR gets stolen, cue long winded insurance faff --> in the meantime, need bike for commute so buy the F800S --> 2 months later insurance offer me brand new replacement STR --> new STR delivered about 2 weeks ago --> STR now getting all the use, F800S tucked up
I would love to keep the BMW but am trying to sell it and buy a 4 wheeled runabout for wet weather emergencies/practical stuff....I don't mind biking through the odd shower, but my current commute is 80+ mins and as evidenced by the last 2 days, I'll only stay dry for 30 mins in proper rain, after that it just leeches through!
ETA: keep your pics coming

Stonking pics Bass...blue sky and warmth but a distant dream for us in blighty for a while now..
Well, the excitement of picking up the 350 was quenched by its falling over in the van...not anyones fault, the bars spun in the clamps and made the straps come loose..went over fairly gently but its marked the tank, side panel, centre stand and its pissed out the gearbox oil.thats what I could make out in the dark so far..gutted...

For the record putting the straps around the lower set of the triple clamp plus tying the bike down fairly hard without the stand down - ie. so the straps are holding the bike down on its suspension has always worked for me. Dont forget to tie the rear wheel in place to stop the rear sliding around and bouncing around
Takes a few seconds more to do but it seems to be the safest method.
As you have found out, handlebars are not designed to tie a bike down with!! (but I still see people doing it every race meet and I still see bikes slip out of their ties when done in this fashion)

Im fking not.....been quoted £250 for paint today, it WAS its best feature until 30mins after I picked it up..
OK, I'll give you £500 for it. No arguing mind, I know it's not worth that much damaged.Nice pics from Oulton Mr...how did you rate the beemer?
Noted re the straps Hman, its one of those things I do once in a blue moon, never had any drams before.
However ive just come back home after viewing it in the day light for the first time , tweaked the handlebars back up, they where so loose I wouldnt have been surprised to see the first wheelie have them rotate around in my hands.
Anyway, its not as bad as I thought it may be, the tanks the worse, side panel has a small nick in the graphic but overall, its looking good....bloody good..a lot of the items that are hard to find and show signs of wear are all there and in excellent condition, the clock surrounds for example.
