Serious answer John.

I just had a quick skim read of the advert and I couldn't see any mention of it's TT history. Ignoring that you've said it's a Triggers broom - it's an ex-TT bike, and assuming that it sells for under a grand - that's a cheap slice of history. Any proper old bike with any kind of racing pedigree now (especially IoM) is an access all areas pass to events, and a great talking point!

To anyone else, it's 'just' an old 600 that's a bit battered. Regardless of the TT thing, it's your old bike so you will regret not buying it if you don't. It won't drop any money (assuming you don't get into a bidding war with another previous owner!) so even if you stand it in the back of the garage for five years, it'll not owe you anything. And as you're getting more into the older (well less modern!) stuff it'd be ideal! And just think of it sitting there, with your favourite "oh dogst" poster hanging above it...!

Can you see why we have a garage full of bikes now, I'm good at justifying bikes hehe
Get it bought man and stop being a big northern jessie, if you didn't want it you wouldn't have posted on here (same as me and the beemer) so get to it smile

Nice! How much of a good deal? And have you got a buyer for that bottom roller cabinet? I'll take it off your hands.

Thanks! It actually looks better now than it did before the accident!!
I never really liked them either, but having now owned this one for 8 months think its a great bike. The only down side for me is the fuel consumption but then it has been breathed on by Big CC so I suppose thats my own fault biggrin

Taglang La : The worlds second highest motorable pass in the world a couple of weeks back. It's on the beautiful Leh-Manali road in Ladakh, Northern India.

Nice. Went over the Col de la Bonnette the other week, the highest pass in Europe at 2802m...and you're at nearly double that!

I assume the view was better than ours too

Had a bit of a play in the rain to try and improve my ste weather confidence. Massive dislike for mud, manhole covers, leaves, glass-like roads and my poxy visor which prevents me from seeing where I'm going. Still, ended up in Finchingfield for some coffee and pie, so all good!

Went to 'Skeg-vegas' for Fish n' Chips yesterday, plenty of room in the bike-park despite the good weather;
