RE: PH2 Ridden: Triumph Daytona 675R

I think it's a nice looking bike, but have Triumph overcome their build quality issues? Fastenings tarnishing/rusting...IMO it makes bikes look very old very fast.
Think I'd always favour a Yamaha R6 or a Honda CBR600R. However if I lusted after something exotic, perhaps a Ducati 749R...they cheap now (although I appreciate not to run).

IIRC Triumph now use all stainless fastenings pretty much everywhere - my '08 Street Triple certainly does. My TT600 is mint mechanically..x reg. I've heard plenty of other TT and speed four owners saying the same. Looked at 675 that actually get used and they seem to fair well. So what are you basing this build issues notion on??
I'm just speculating now, but it fks me off when people say things like this cos for example their mate told them or whatever who may not particularly look after the bike.
ANY bike will look like st quickly if not looked after.
I don't get people slating Triumph. I'm proud of them for doing so well and of course for being British. I find I don't have much to be proud of with this country anymore..

Pisses me off that so many pounce on one of the few British successes. Most of it spouted by people who heard it from their billy big-bolx mate down the pub or cafe.
I owned a TT600 from 2001 until 2 months ago. I ragged it. I dropped it. It had 20K+ miles on it, was unloved and unwashed.
Not a furry fixing on it.
