The father of the Ducati 916 and MV F4 has sadly passed away.

Gorgeous bikes. He will no doubt have penned my SS, too. Mi unisco al dolore della famiglia.

That is sad. He's left the world with some of the best looking bikes of modern times.

A true visionary, capable of greatness, and achieved, his designs were iconic and his attention to detail sublime, and frm he few people I know that have met him, they all said what a gent he was with it, no ego, no diva tendencies, just a good guy.

RIP.

RIP. The world would be a duller place without his creations.

A shame to hear this. Turned bikes into art forms. Has left a lasting legacy.

Every Bimota up until 1986 came from his pen.

Had the pleasure of seeing a F4 1000 Tamburini up close in a Miami showroom a few years ago. Absolute bike porn, amongst a showroom of new MV's and Ducatis including 3 Desmosedicis, it stood out looking stunning.
RIP sir.

I'll still crane my neck to see a 748 or 916. Simply a superb design.
