Loving my new S1000R Sport
Discussion
So after a bit of a delay the BMW S1000R Sport was available for collection late July – My riding was interrupted by a 2 week holiday, so it’s not quite run in yet, but I'm can use up to 9k RPM and it's bloody quick.
I've fitted a tail tidy (new plate fitted after these pictures were taken) and a rad / oil cooler guard plus some front & rear spindle protectors all from Evotech but other than that the bike is as it came with the Akro end can, HP levers and larger screen fitted by BMW.

This bike is an absolute hoot.
I can’t wait until the 1st service is out of the way and I can access all the revs + Dynamic Pro mode.

what the hell is dynamic pro mode?.
A setting on the semi-active suspension (HP4 style).TC and ABS can also be switched off independently if you wish.
The suspension damping is also electronically adjustable - you get soft, normal and hard for 1 or 2 up at the press of a button, in addition to being able to adjust preload manually to suit ride weight.
Clever stuff - fingers crossed it's reliable over time.

It does have a face only a mother could love.
At least I don't have to look at them when riding
Lol... well I have a similar situation as my other bike is Ducati MTS 1000 which is also not a pretty bike.At least I don't have to look at them when riding
I should be stripping it down into a supermoto streetfighter naked in the autumn.
Should be fun.
