Expensive leathers
Discussion
Having pretty well destroyed the one piece leathers that I bought last year, it's time to start looking for a new set. These Alpinestars caught my eye, until I saw the price!

Something is going on with their pricing lately, tried to buy an item and it was a different price in the checkout than on the page.
I know I'm leaving my purchase too, as its £30 dearer when I click on it than its priced on the main page. I want the cheaper price, along with the 10% which may well prove tricky as that expires on Monday. I bought my most expensive ever set of leathers this season . I paid 599 pounds for last years BKS one piece suit . They fit so well and wear so well . Problem is the fit , I'm an odd shape and these were the only off the peg suit that ever fit right . Oh for those jammy bdds that can just buy off the shelf!
The atem is really tight on the arms and across the shoulders but another level again in quality . Too expensive for my needs though beautifully made

They look really good. I might be interested in a set like that myself.
What's the general fit like for Alpinestars? Are they more suited to tall and slim or more square physiques?
Tall and slim is about right for the fit on Alpinestars. I'm not overly fat but have no chance of fastening the calf zips on them. They're all fairly similar apart from the challenger suit which seems to be better for a lot of people. You'll probably find it's baggy round the arse. The majority of people I've seen try Alpinestars have this problem and when I asked both our reps and one of their R&D guys none of them had an answer. Well apart from the bullst from one of the reps which was "because Lorenzo likes it like that"What's the general fit like for Alpinestars? Are they more suited to tall and slim or more square physiques?

I've seen all shapes and sizes in them, you'll just have to try some on.

I'm more round than tall & slim, or square. 56 seemed to fit well enough, although a little snug, they should break in OK hopefully. What's the general fit like for Alpinestars? Are they more suited to tall and slim or more square physiques?
