I would appreciate some advice from the collective here.

I fancy getting a pair of armoured jeans. My key contenders are Hood and Resurgence. I would like Rokker but they are eye wateringly expensive.

However I am wondering am I just better off getting some underarmour type of get up instead, something like

and then I can wear what I like on top.

thanks
PS if someone does have a set of armoured jeans for sale in a 34 I would be much obliged

having now looked at a few sites I was under the impression that the jeans would be as good as textiles, aren't they?

Out of curiosity, do you still wear textiles or just jeans or leathers. Other than waterproofing what is the benefit of textiles, especially as jeans seem to have evolved a lot.

Funnily enough, I bought some jeans yesterday. When I got the new bike, I told myself I was only going to use it on sunny days for fun, so I sold all my winter/wet kit, leaving me with just my onesie, one helmet, one pair of gloves and one pair of boots.

In hindsight, this was stupid.

So with the money I made from selling off my old kit (*sigh*), I bought some Rokker Revolution jeans and a Dainese Super Rider jacket (which is amazing).

I'm an idiot.
Just get some cheaper windproof, waterproof gear from Aldi/ Lidl as a short term measure
