Cheers Mate for this but I'll test ride in the spring. Saves me taking my gear to the NEC and riding in the possible crap weather chris4652009 said:

Went to the classic car show that also has the classic bikes yesterday.
I know people moan about the price to get to motorcyclelive but I paid online £19.50 (£25 on the day) for the show next week. But it was £27 online for the car show

I dont get how people moan about £20 to get in. You get almost every bike available on display to sit on and test ride on some of them. Try going around all the dealers on £20 worth of fuel, let alone the fact it would take you a lot longer than walking 20 seconds from one to the other at the bike show. Plus the stores and other events going on there. Yes I moan about the price of the food and drink there, but then I could take my own if I was really arsed..
As for bikes go free, like others 200 mile round trip at the end of nov and unable to take home your new helmet, bike gear turn up the A/C and heated seats. Rock on
Well been looking forward to this even for months. I seen about 1 hall and bought a few bits I wanted before my mate fitted and 3 hours later after he was sorted went home. Seems I will be going back on the weekend with the wife. Main thing is mate is ok now. Was dehydration which surprised everyone as we all drank the same. but as he's 25 years older than the rest of us not uncommon at the NEC after eating food and waling around a warm hall. The paramedic informed us who was a top chap.

Glad to hear your friend is ok. Its a shame places like the NEC don't make water bottle refills available, there must be lots of people who get dehydrated rather than pay £1.90 for a bottle of coke.
Whats more astounding is that the NEC ( info from the medic) only employs him to deal with every member of the public who has any medical issues through the day. The way they get away with this is every security guard has basic first aid and from what I was informed they also panic if anything out of the norm happens as they are not trained. 1 medic on duty at the NEC bike show. How many go, 1000's or 10,000's a day
Shocking
On a light note going back over the weekend
Went again today and took the wife
really enjoyed the show. Got in early so a 7AM start was fun after a late night out with mates last night.
really enjoyed the show and for me the BMW future electric bike I though was amazing to look at
