I had a top day out riding to the south coast. 3 hour trip in amazing 25c weather. I got home & drank rather too much wine & then attempted to clean the bike. Lost balance whilst manoeuvring bike & almost dropped it! Only damage is a scuff on the mirror from the garage wall. Any ideas on getting rid of scuffs? Dremmel? Heat gun? Filler? New mirror???
Yes, I was a tt....

Standard Kawasaki black plastic. In the cold light of day, its literally a couple of minor scratches, but rather unsightly!
Memo to self: DO NOT ATTEMPT BIKE MAINTENANCE UNDER THE INFLUENCE!!

Totally misunderstood. You mean mirror HOUSING.
Yep - I'm old, decrepit & clearly can't handle my drink like I used to!

I particularly liked the 'Brandyhands' reference above bowbowhehe
Luckily the scratches are on the left hand mirror, so when it's on the side stand you can't see it & not visible when riding. Not sure I'll bother with any ham fisted repair attempts, & I'm definitely going to remind myself not to carry out maintenance whilst under the influence!!
