190 to 180 section - feels better already!
Discussion
My 749 came with a 190 section on from the previous owner and I've stuck with that. I thought I'd go for a change this time though and have gone back to a 180 as it should be, a 2ct to be precise.
I've only done about 100miles so far but the early signs are good! Nice sharp turn in - looking forward to the next trackday in may now
So if any of you are running wider tyres than you're supposed to - give a smaller one a go, you might be very suprised...

Here is the Pirelli Corsas at 28 miles old with chicken strips...
100 miles old...
At about 400 miles old, half way through a Donnington trackday...
..and at the end of the day! 600 miles old and knackered!!!
The life of a rear tyre on a GSXR thou! I have always used 190/50 on my (std) 6" suzook rim. Would I be better off with a 180, or would it wear even faster?

They're not knackered in the slightest! 50 miles on the road and you'd never know you'd tracked it. There's oodles of tread left before you near your indicators as far as I can see.
I do hope you haven't binned them!
PS - try turning left sometimes.
