Abba stand help

Can anyone with an abba stand do me a favour please? Can you measure the size of the steel box used to make up the frame? In the pictures it looks like 25mm. Also, would you mind measuring the height of the center of the locating pin from the base of the stand please?

Basically I have a welder and some steel and thought I'd knock one up.

The frame is 40mm square, and stands 20in high, 21in for the side with the handle. I've got a few spare bobbins/fittings whatever they're called if you need them.
