Well.... I passed my theory last Thursday and did my CBT on Sunday. All I can say is WOW!!!! I LOVED every minute of it, even when I couldnt for the life of me manage a decent U-turn on the road (I managed around 3/20 attempts he he) but in the car park I could do them all day.
This was the FIRST time I had ever even been on a bike and I have to say I have been bitten by the bug..... hard.
Booked my DAS course over 5 days ending with my test (4th September, which is cutting it fine with regards to the new test coming in).
Slightly off topic, if I was to fail my practical test on 4th September and couldnt get a re-test booked in before the new test came in, what would happen? Would I have to train for the new test even though I have been previously trained for the old style test? Or will there be a 'cross over' where people trained for the old style test will be able to take what they have been trained for even after 29th??? September?
Also, what is everyone's opinion on getting a GSXR 600 (K2/3ish) for a first bike, as I am in the mind of I control what i do etc etc or am i talking cack and am being a silly boy

urm... Haven't been riding at all tbh. Got my test on the 1st of august lessons start on the 26th. I was thinking when i booked it, gawd 3 days of training doesn't sound like much =s but if you add up the hours its more than I had in my car and with a car I was learning all the basic rules of the road at the same time.On my CBT there was a 16 year old chav in trackies and trainers, eye brow pierced and about 3 ear rings in his ear who ran 2 red lights and couldn't tell the instructor what a "no entry" sign was!!!! I was a bit dismayed to find he still got certfied to ride scooters eek!

The rabbit does a good job in the summer, he always leaves a square patch of shorter grass in the shape of his run when we put him to bed

Theory test should be done before a CBT.
t and how much of a ball ache it is, it does a good job for new drivers learning the basics)This guy did not have a clue he really didnt and I could not believe what he was doing. He was trying to pull wheelies on his scooter and everything while the instructor was talking to us!!! GRRR i hate chavs and we have so many here in my town

I have to say I think the the theory test is very good the hazard perception on the other hand complete b
ks. It's surprising how many experienced drivers get some theory test questions wrong.Yeah the hazard perception is crap can we say "click.....1.....2.....click.....1.....2... etc etc " he he
