Helmet Polish.....

I need to give me helmet a good polish (as it were!) as its a right mess from bugs and crap.

What do people recommend to use? Am I right thinking there are some household stuff I should avoid?!

Avoid anything with ammonia in it. get that down your japs eye and you''ll know it.

after a quick search on Arai's site, found this:

"Arai only recommend the use of a mild soap solution, warm water and a soft cloth. A non-petroleum based wax polish can then be applied to the helmets outer shell"
