I turned the big 30 last week and the guys at work got a newbie track experience on my bike round Knockhill. I was beaming all day long. Couldn't have asked for anything better.
Has anyone done this? I've still class myself as a novice on the bike so I'm a little nervous as to what to expect.

Any advice would be much appreciated. I know I will be taken though the training but I would like to hear your experiences, good or bad.

Yep its at Knockhill. It has been known for the weather to be nice but I have yet to see this. Fingers crossed eh.
The only issue I may have is my bike has been lowered (I am a short arse) so there may be an issue with grinding the pegs. Ha! Who am kidding. It's very doubtful that I will have the bike tipped over enough, unless I'm coming off it.

Ah, That's given me a good excuse to buy some leathers. Would have to make sure I got my knee down then. I fear my friends would take the mick if I came back from a track day with unscratched sliders.

To be honest, I'm treating it as a day to hone in those skills I already have. I don't care much for the speed, but what I do like is taking a corner perfectly, where everything you've done is spot on. I don't see myself as a knee down person but you never know.
