Picked up my new bike Saturday morning biggrin

Got a cracking trade-in price on my Varadero and they sold me my new love - a 650 bandit Bandit cloud9 She's '07 registered (although a mk3, '05-'06 model), done just over 7000 miles and so far, I've found a small scratch on the exhaust smile

I had to have it restricted to 33bhp as I took my test on the Varadero and all I can say is fk me that's fast enough!! (I reserve the right to be "needing more power" in 6 weeks time wink ) Jerking on and off the power like I'd never been on a bike before paperbag ... not sure a 125 does teach you much as I'm so used to using the throttle wide open now rolleyes

My better half and little 'un are away this weeknd, so I've been able to spanner in peace!

She started like this:

And after adding R&G bungs, sw-motech alurack (for unfeasably huge givi box (why do they only make the good quality ones in "massive"??)), scottoiler and hitching the seat up to the "high" setting, she finished the day like this:

Putting heated grips on this morning (yes, I know. I've got the grips now, and I've got the time to do it now. There's going to be a day in October-ish when I'm glad I did!). Hugger and fender extenda to follow then she's done for a bit.

In the meantime, isn't it a lovely day for a ride biggrin

That will wear off, especially as it seems you have a fairly swift car. You'll still crack the throttle wide open on a restricted bike (or at least I do) and it still won't be that fast. Probably didn't help I tried an unrestricted bike before mine so don't do that or your bike will seem SLOW.

Enjoy though biggrin
Car... hmmmm... I may not have updated my profile for a while wink On an Alfa 156 2.0 at the moment, which is less quick.

On the trying an unrestricted bike... a mate offered me a lift on the back of his Triumph Super 3 this week and I declined so as not to spoil 33BHP smile
